As part of efforts to build capacity of Peace Corps Volunteers to improve community development in Ghana, 29  Peace Corps Volunteers have been trained in the principles of organic vegetable farming and nursery management to be able to impart the training to their communities.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Samuel Owusu-Takyi reiterated their long standing relationship with the Peace Corps Volunteers through continuous training and capacity building of new volunteers and he is pleased to welcome the new volunteers.
The trainees were taken through nursery management, cultural practices, mulching, soil fertility management among others
The training is a 1 week training at the KITA campus in Domeabra – Kumasi.
