Agribusiness, Small Enterprise Development and International Trade Relations

The Center for Agribusiness, small Enterprise Development and International Trade Relations is the Department established at the Institute to coordinate the business development and marketing of farmers products, ensuring quality control, enhancing the value chain, as well as ensuring that products produced by our network of farmer cooperatives are of exportable standard

The department is also aimed at partnering with national and international organisations to enhance imports and exports of agricultural products, farm implements, exporters and importers cooperative and building relations to facilitate exchange and improve service delivery.

In collaboration with ACDI VOCA the department is helping to improve the value chain of farmers produce

A strong relationship with FAGRO is also helping to exhibit farmers products and build trade partnerships with investors in the agricultural sector

Also the Center is building a strong relationship with the Brazilian Embassy to provide opportunity to develop business partnerships and train staff as well as enhance brazil – Ghana agricultural trade relations especially for the northern sector of the country.

With about 9 staff headed by Lovans Owusu-Takyi, there is a dynamic cooperation to ensure successful implementation of projects.
