The project will set-up an agro processing facility and also expand 10 practical agribusinesses demonstration projects at the KITA Campus for 3rd year HND in Agriculture students to work in these projects to make money and learn entrepreneurship, project management and financial management skills for 6 months before they graduate. The demonstration facility include, Gari processing, palm oil processing, moringa powder and cream processing, groundnut paste and oil processing, fruit juice processing, poultry feed processing, and drying and milling of vegetables and spices. 20 third year students will manage the agro-businesses, whiles
the 2nd years work as project technical assistants, and 1st years as project assistants. Students will receive business plan development and agro-business management coaching and mentorship, and they can transport their businesses to their hometowns after graduation. The facilities will also be used for training other course participants.
