KITA has won a grant from the Australian High Commission Direct Aid Program to establish an Agro-processing Business Incubation Center to train students and farmers in agro-processing in Ghana.
Four agro-processing business units will be established including
Palm Oil Processing
Cassava Processing
Moringa Processing
Groundnut processing
KITA will as part of the project start a Green Organic Market to provide fresh organic food for the communities in the Kumasi and Ejisu District.
The Green market will provide both fresh and processed fruits, vegetables and nuts to provide easy access to food and nutrition for the people within the communities.
