As a pilot project, the old aged (above 60) in 10 communities will be identified and organised to form old aged clubs. They will be assisted to conduct their weekly meetings and other vocational and recreational activities. They will also be assisted to set up their programmes. Towards the end of the year, donations of second hand clothing will be given to them and an end of year party will be organised for each group. A community care home is planned.
ii.  Disabled Persons Club
The disabled persons in the 20 communities will be identified and organised to form Community Disabled clubs. They will be counselled, trained and established in trades of their interest. This identification will be done in cooperation with district assemblies and the chiefs.
iii.  Children Talents Exposition
A talents exposition will be organised for children with specific talents. Each unit committee in the 20 communities will select 3 children with the best talents for the exposition. This will be done towards September each year when the children are on vacation.
iv.  Children and Youth Drama
To reclaim the falling moral standards in the societies and enforce traditional values, the institute in collaboration with the Presbyterian Church of Yenyawoso and the Protestant Church of KNUST will organise drama in 12 communities in the district. The titles include, the Christian youth and his society, AIDS and the youth, etc.
v.  KITA Children’s Clubs
The rural children are totally cut off since their parents cannot usually afford to pay for their travel. The goals of these clubs are to assist these children to know their country and appreciate their environments, to learn and preserve their culture, to receive career guidance and counselling, and to know the various industries in the country.
